I’ve had a profile on Medium for a while, but hadn’t posted until a few days ago. I liked the design and feel as I was writing more than in thought I would.
The term “minimalist writing” comes to mind to describe the experience. There were no distractions, I didn’t have to worry about saving anything but at the same time I never felt as though I was missing anything.
The absence of the ability to customize font and layout is strangely freeing. Admittedly, I’m one of those people that could spend an unreasonable amount of time tinkering with these types of things.
With Medium, I don’t have to worry about it… I’m completely and solely focused on what I have to say.
